Day 1

Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Pick up at 8.00 from your hotel and start a beautiful journey across the Great Rift Valley to the name Serengeti, originates from the Maasai word Siringitu and means endless plains along the distance of 307km from Arusha town. You will see why the Maasai gave this region this name as the grassland savannah stretches to the horizon in the south and is only interrupted by the so-called kopjes, These kopjes are bizarre rock formations formed by the weathering of granite outcrops. The plains are the perfect hunting grounds for leopards and other big cats; you will have a good chance to view these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat through the open roof of the vehicle. In mid-day, you will reach the destination for the day, the Seronera Valley in the central of Serengeti, you will experience a life dream of African sunset in Serengeti while the Sun set across Acacia and Savannah woodland trees while wild animals keep grazing.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness, you will continue the game drive through the Serengeti National Park. You will sight hundreds of wildebeests and zebras and often lions and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs in the Seronera Valley. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World, The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2000 ft high walls, The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks, Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. We will camp for the night on the crater’s edge and enjoy the fantastic view as the sun goes down.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, We will start the day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth, Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera and has unbelievable wildlife diversity. On the grass steppe and in the acacia tree woods, you will find almost all species that are found in the East African savannah with the exception of topis, Masai giraffes, and impalas. After the game drive, there will be time for a picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo Lake. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then ascend the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha town. This tour will end at your hotel or Airport for the flight back home or to Zanzibar.
