Day 1

Drive to Maasai Mara

Our safari guide will pick us up from the Airport or Nairobi hotel for the drive to Maasai Mara. We drive down the Great Rift Valley, with some panoramic views, and on to Narok town, Maasai land’s most important commercial and administrative town. We arrive at the camp for lunch followed by an afternoon break. At around 16:00, we will set out on our first game drive in the magnificent Maasai Mara. We return to the camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Game Drives in Maasai Mara

We have the whole day today to explore the Maasai Mara. We could start with an early morning game drive, return for breakfast, enjoy a mid-morning game drive before lunch and set out again for an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, we could take packed lunch and enjoy a full day game drive, returning to the camp at sunset. The prime location of our camp gives us the freedom to take whichever option suits us.

Day 3

Boat Ride on Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, we depart for Lake Naivasha, driving beside the Suswa and Longonot Mountains. We arrive at the resort for lunch before going for a boat ride on the lake. Lake Naivasha is one of the Kenyan Rift Valley Lakes, the highest of these and arguably the most beautiful. It hosts a large population of diverse bird and plant life. Its shores abound with wildlife such as giraffes, waterbucks, zebra and other antelopes. The stars of the boat ride are the fish eagles, which perch on trees looking keenly into the water for their next meal. Afterward, we proceed to our lodge on the shores of Lake Elementaita, yet another beautiful and biodiverse lake.

Day 4

Game Drives in Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, we depart with packed lunch for an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake, together with Lakes Elementaita and Bogoria, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the biodiversity it supports. The park also hosts a rich and stable population of both the black and white rhinos. Lions, leopards, buffaloes and several antelope species are also present here, and so are the Rothschild Giraffe, famous for their ‘white socks’. Lake Nakuru is also a bird watchers paradise. You are very likely to encounter flamingoes, pelicans, cormorants, darters, plovers, eagles and many other bird species.

Day 5

Lake Shore Walk and Drive to Nairobi

Before closing our adventure, we will take a guided walk along the shores of the magnificent Lake Elementaita after breakfast. The lake hosts a good and diverse population of birds. The lesser flamingo is probably the most notable of them. We will return to the lodge to freshen up and have lunch before driving to Nairobi where we end our safari with great memories to take home.
