This tour take you through the northern Serengeti National park which is Masai Mara game reserve on the Kenya side and without driving backwards, cross the boarder through isebania boarder and continue to the Serengeti national park on the Tanzania side. The tour shall continue to the Ngorongoro crater then finalize your trip with a visit to lake Manyara national park. The journey shall then end in Arusha in good time for your next destinations either to the beach or catch your outbound flight.

Day 1

Nairobi to Maasai mara game reserve

This tour can begin immediately upon arrival in the morning here at Jomo Kenyatta international airport if you opt not to have a break in Nairobi.
It can also start after your overnight stay in Nairobi. Meet and greet by Back Of Africa Adventure representative for a short safari briefing and after silver meet and greet your Kenya Tanzania combined safari will start, together with your driver guide depart and drive heading south west to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. We spend the afternoon at leisure before embarking for our evening game drive across this beautiful dotted plains of the Mara in search of game that includes big cats, Topi, hartebeest, Oribi, Grant’s and Thomson gazelle, buffalo, waterbuck, vervet monkey, olive baboon as well as many species of reptiles and amphibians. Have dinner and overnight stay at safari lodge on full board basis.

Day 2

Maasai mara game reserve

Wake before the dawn for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a Maasai Mara sunrise. After a quick cup of coffee, you’ll head out into the park to watch as the sun sets fire to the savannah and the big cats take advantage of the morning cool to search for a meal.

Alternatively, you can take to the skies with a hot air balloon safari that will see you soar above all of the action before setting down on the plains for a champagne breakfast among the wildlife. Ask your safari expert about adding a hot air balloon adventure to your safari.

You’ll then return to your lodge for a late breakfast before packing a picnic lunch and heading back out into the park for a day-long exploration of the Maasai Mara. You may also opt to relax at your lodge in the morning, enjoy lunch on site, and then head out again in the afternoon once the weather has cooled off a bit.

The location of this accommodation gives you more opportunity to view wildlife while sitting by your tent verandah.

Day 3

Maasai mara to serengeti via isebania boarder

Bid farewell to the Maasai Mara and Kenya after an early breakfast and a morning game drive that takes you to the Isebania border crossing.

After the immigration formalities are done, you’ll meet your new driver and continue on into the world-famous Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive. Home to huge populations of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes – the picturesque Serengeti is an excellent place to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs as well as herbivores including elephants, hippos, and giraffes.

This is a long day of driving. Be prepared for a tiring day! Since it is a long stretch from maasai mara to serengeti national park.

Day 4

Serengeti national park

You’ll wake before dawn for an unforgettable sunrise game drive. Marvel at how the sun sets fire to the savannah as you go in search of big cats on the hunt for their morning meal.

After breakfast, you’ll spend an entire day out on the plains of the Serengeti searching for the Big Five and (if the time is right) the movements of the famous Wildebeest Migration.

Weaving through kopjes upon which lions sun themselves, you’ll see some of the world’s most iconic wildlife against the open plains and big sky of Tanzania’s crown jewel.

Day 5

Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, we get right on the road back towards the Ngorongoro Crater National Park.

Our drive takes us back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot the animals that eluded you on day two. As far as the eye can see, you’ll spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of animals: the predators.

You will have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion.

Dinner and overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater or in nearby Karatu Town according to the standard and the type of accommodation requested from our options.

Day 6

Ngorongoro crater to Lake Manyara National park

Today we shall depart ngorongoro crater soon after lunch for lake Manyara National Park. Arrive in time for mid-morning morning game viewing and lunch at the selected accommodation. An afternoon game viewing ill follow until closing time of the park. Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most dramatic wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, it also boasts unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. Your dinner and stay will be at the camp.

Day 7

Lake Manyara to Arusha

Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, followed by breakfast at the selected accommodation. You will then transfer back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, will we have lunch and the company will then offer to transfer you back to your hotel, which will conclude our safari services.
