Day 1: ARUSHA

Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA).Met by a CATS Africa representative for meet and greet and transferred to The Arusha Hotel.Dinner on own account. Overnight at THE ARUSHA HOTEL (Bed & Breakfast)

DAY 2: ARUSHA / LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Lake Manyara National Park.Lake Manyara offers many unique views including elephant, giraffe, buffalo and wildebeest can be found grazing in unexpected clearings or heading towards the water to drink or wash, and the rivers and riverbeds provide scenic vistas for possible animal spotting. Lunch at Lake Manyara Hotel Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive Dinner and overnight at LAKE MANYARA HOTEL (Full Board)

DAY 3: LAKE MANYARA / SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Depart for Serengeti National Park with a stop en-route at Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai is the famous archeological site where Leakey discovered remains of Australopithecus, Homo habilis and Homo erectus, bringing crucial understanding to the study of the evolution of the human species. From Olduvai set off to the “Great Serengeti”, likely the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Arrive with a game viewing drive en route to your lodge for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive The vast Serengeti plains cover an area of over 14,763 square kilometers and during the months of the migration, is the habitat of huge numbers of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle with estimates of up to 1.5 million. The Serengeti “Kopjes”, massive boulder islands of granite standing in a sea of grass, provide shelter to a great variety of plants and animals, from the elusive leopard to the tiny dikdik. Dinner & overnight at SERONERA WILDLIFE LODGE (Full Board) 

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Spend the day on morning and evening game viewing drives (or a full day game drive with picnic lunches). This is home not only to the big five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo) but also hosts the world renowned wildebeest migration from the Serengeti plains. This happens every year beginning late June to October/early November. Among other animals to be seen include; wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance. Optional activities available include; hot air balloon safari, visit to local schools and villages, nature/bird walks. All meals and overnight at SERONERA WILDLIFE LODGE(Full Board) 

DAY 5: SERENGETI / NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Early this morning depart to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area (NCCA), which features rolling plains, lakes, craters, mountains and dormant volcanoes. Arrive and descend into the ‘8th Wonder of the World’, a unique biosphere that has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. You will also have picnic lunch at the crater floor before later climbing up and transferred to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge for overnight. Enclosed within its towering walls are grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans, a fresh water lake and a glorious variety of birdlife. Here too are all the members of the ‘Big Five’ (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo) as well as a large cast of plains game and one of Africa’s densest populations of predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before driving back to your lodge for relaxation before dinner. Overnight at NGORONGORO WILDLIFE LODGE (Full Board)

DAY 6: NGORONGORO / DEPART

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for your International flight back home
